From the parking lot, head west, then turn left onto Rue des Bonnes-Joies. At the bottom, by the river, you’ll see the Moncient washhouse (1), then, to the left of the bridge, the old blacksmith’s shop (2). Cross the bridge and head toward Saint-Sulpice Church (3). Continue to the right until you reach the Colombier farm (4), then return to the church and walk up Rue Saint-Laurent. Pass in front of City Hall, cross the road, and take Chemin de la Vallée-au-Clerc—the path along the chapel on the left—to reach the cemetery (5). Cross the cemetery, continue along the path, turn right, then cross the D 205 and take the path directly across. At the intersection with Rue des Champs, turn right, then, at the next intersection, take the path farthest to the right. At the first intersection, take the path on the left toward the Maigremont farm, which you can see across the way. Just before the farm, you’ll find a landscape information board (6) offering a view of the Montcient Valley. At the Maigremont Farm, the Bernon Valley comes into view on the right. Head left between the farm and the house. At the end of the fence, take the path on the left to head back down to the village entrance. Turn right at the intersection onto Rue du Cornouiller to reach the parking lot. Updated: 1 year ago
