Well maintained path. But the island is very marshy and cannot be maintained against that. So make sure to have good shoes.
The direction as indicated by the track is the recommended direction. This way you have a nice buildup and end with the highlights.
Author’s recommendation
Don't forget to take the "tail" towards Sandshornet: there you have a chance to see puffins! They are not always there, sometimes you have to wait a bit.
