Roadbook
The route begins at the information board in Tambach. Here you are directly at Tambach Castle. Along the B303, you walk towards Tambach and pass the fish ponds of the wildlife park. At waypoint (WP) 12 there is a sandstone wayside shrine, where you must turn left to follow the panoramic trail to WP 14. Here you have a great view of Neundorf. The village itself invites you for a short detour with its beautiful half-timbered houses, the splendid Jakobs fountain, and the historic fortified church.
Then return to WP 14. A concrete field path passes the sewage treatment plants towards WP 16. Now turn left and enter a narrow and quiet meadow valley, where you hike to WP 25. At WP 25 there is a seating area. Here you are at the former count’s manor Rothhof. In addition, you have a great panoramic view of the Haßberge. Continue along the forest edge to WP 29, where you turn left and walk to WP 30. Here, follow the path to the right to WP 31 and turn left onto the forest road and along the Klingengraben at the forest gate. Through the district of Brunnhölzlein you reach the B303 and the pond dam between WP 9 and WP 10 to the covered pedestrian bridge. At WP 10, return to the starting and finishing point.
