The route runs mostly on the city wall with small sections around it. In total, there are 22 stations waiting for you. Information boards provide interesting facts about the special features of the city’s towers. You will find a total of 46 historic towers in the old town; they rise along the city wall, at the gates of Rothenburg, and along the fortifications. The Röder Tower is located in the east and offers a beautiful view over the city as well as an exhibition on the reconstruction of the old town after the destruction of World War II. Six gates lead you into the city in total: the Rödertor, the Galgentor, the Klingentor, the Burgtor, the Kobolzeller Tor, and the Spitaltor. Other sights like the Wolfgangskirche and the Burggarten await you.
