On this leisurely forest hike, we climb over Draßburger Kogel and Kogelberg to the Rohrbacher (also Marzer) Kogel, whose summit vegetation is under nature protection. The return route leads past the Maria Blick ins Land chapel and the pilgrimage church of the former Pauline monastery in Baumgarten.
From Draßburg station, we walk through Bahnstraße to Eisenstädter Straße, turn left here, after 30 m turn right into Arbeitergasse and immediately left again into a narrow alley (no entry sign). We walk straight ahead to Wiener Neustädter Straße, cross it and walk opposite along Meierhofstraße. At its end, we meet the red-white-red marking of long-distance trail 07, which we follow straight into the forest towards Draßburger and Rohrbacher Kogel. We cross the inconspicuous hills of Draßburger Kogel and Kogelberg and finally arrive at a crossroads at the shoulder of Rohrbacher Kogel (stamp station!), where the hiking trail turns right. We stay on it up to the summit of Rohrbacher Kogel, with a beautiful view. Where the marking points steeply downwards, we keep left and hike back to the crossroads with the stamp station on an unmarked footpath, where we turn right.
