    Hello 😊

I share all my routes for free on this app and my photos on Instagram (helofortunet).

In return, I would appreciate it if you leave a comment at the bottom of this page to share your observations, post your photos, and give 5 stars *****!

    Thank you!

For safety reasons, this route (off-trail from Lac Branlay) leads to the Rognolet subpeak (30m below the summit, which is only accessible with a rope).

Subpeak = large stone cairn // Rognolet Peak = red cross (do not attempt without helmet or rope)

Lac Branlay (small stream from summer, but a pretty lake in winter)

Lac Lay (preserved, secret, please respect it!!!) Be quiet if you want to observe the chamois.

    From Lac Lay, 2 options:

    - the leftmost gully (wider and easier as it is grassy, then follow the ridge on your right up to the subpeak on the left of Rognolet Peak)

    - the rightmost gully (large rocky chute in summer) until you reach the ridge, then continue to the subpeak walking through the rocks.

-> Don't miss the organic sheep cheese dairy (on your left when descending into the village of Celliers)

From the summit, splendid views of the Grand Pic de la Lauzière, Cheval Noir, the Bauges, and the Chartreuse.
