This hiking route runs above the village of Tambre, offering a pleasant balance of forested stretches and sweeping views of the Belluno Dolomites. The departure from the square immediately introduces you to the Le Val trail, which enters the forest and gradually leads to higher altitudes, providing a cool and relaxing environment.
As you climb, the landscape opens up until you reach the area connecting with the Sant'Anna - Federa - Pianon road, where the gaze can sweep over a wide mountain scenery. This section represents one of the most striking points of the hike, ideal for taking a break and enjoying the view.
The route continues toward Federa and then returns passing through Civit, among rural views and typical Alpago environments, before returning to Tambre along the state road. The itinerary is suitable for hikers with a minimum of training and those looking for a varied walk, between nature and landscape.

From the square in Tambre, take the Le Val trail, which climbs in the wooded area above the village until it reaches the Sant'Anna - Federa - Pianon road.
Continue along this scenic stretch to Federa. From here descend to Civit and finally return to Tambre following the state road, paying attention to traffic.

Tambre can be reached by combining train and bus. The most practical solution is to arrive by train to either Alpago or Belluno station, both of which are connected to major cities in the Veneto region by Trenitalia regional lines. From the station continue by local Dolomitibus buses bound for Tambre and the Cansiglio area.Directions
Tambre is easily reached by car by taking the A27 Venice-Belluno highway to the Alpago exit. From here follow the signs for Tambre and Cansiglio along provincial road SP422, which climbs among woods and views of Santa Croce Lake.Coordinates
