On the last stage in the Siebengebirge, the route leads from the Mucherwiesental past the Eye of God into the Breitbachtal valley and on across a panoramic plateau with meadows and fields to Unkel.

Starting from the Mucherwiesental valley above Bad Honnef, we hike through forests up towards Leyberg, where we can pay a worthwhile visit. We continue in a leisurely manner to the covered wayside shrine of the "Eye of God", where Bänke invite you to take a break. Then a shady path leads us above a narrow ditch down to the Virneberg Cross in the Breitbach Valley. Iron ore was once mined here in numerous pits. First along the floodplain, then along a ditch, we climb up to the Marienberg. Over a plateau with wide meadows and fields and an avenue of maples we continue until we start our descent to Unkel on a narrow path through dense forest. In the small red wine town of Unkel, a romantic old town with numerous half-timbered houses and a charming Rhine promenade awaits us.
