From the parking lot, first cross the bridge over the Weissach, then turn right onto a level gravel path towards Bayerwald, always along the Weissach.
After a fork, we follow the track, now without further markings or signs, with a slight to moderate incline, past a small lake, up to Bodigbergalm.
At Bodigbergalm, a barely visible path leads through grass to the left over alpine pasture until it changes into a well-recognizable mountain path.
After a short distance, the path forks. We choose the right branch, as the ascent there promises more shade in the morning. From here, it goes up relaxed on good ground with only slight to moderate inclines through the forest.
After emerging from the forest, be careful not to miss the next right turn, as the path in tall grass is not easy to see.
Now the last meters go through sparse forest directly to the small summit cross of Reitstein.
The onward path leads east to the first visible border stone and then pathless and quite steep down a slope until we meet visible traces of a path again.
Further orientation is best achieved by walking from stone to stone, partly with small flat sections and then steep ascents up towards Platteneck.
We reach enchanting alpine terrain at Plattenalm and continue walking there to the left past a hut, first flat and then slightly ascending always towards the east.
After a short section, it goes downhill and from there be careful not to miss the fork left down towards Königsalm.
The path now winds moderately steep and partly quite narrow down to the terrain of Königsalm.
From here it then continues on a track following the signposts for about 45 minutes down to the parking lot at Klamm.
