The path is well marked and ready to follow. Nice views along the route, and from the refugi.
Note: if you have some stamina left when getting to the refugi, it is worth taking the path up towards the col (which connects to Rhêmes-Notre-dame), even if you don't intend to get to the col. It quickly gets to a beautiful valley that is worth exploring.
