Refreshing Kneipp tour

From Altstädten station, the trail first takes you up the Gartenweg to the OA4 district road. From there, turn left and follow the district road in a northerly direction to the end of Sonthofer Straße. At this point, turn right onto a shady forest path, which you follow for about one kilometer on an idyllic footpath above the district road. At the first houses in Sonthofen, turn right and you will come directly to the "Bachtel". Here, Kneipp fans can dip their feet in the refreshing water and enjoy a little break.

The path then follows the babbling brook that accompanies you through the Bachtel until you reach the road. There you turn right towards Beilenberg. In the center of the village, turn left past the small chapel and reach the path towards Hochweiler at the second junction. Over a flowering meadow path and along the edge of the forest, the path leads you to the toll road that leads up to the Sonthofer/Altstädter Hof.On this narrow road, you descend to the right and soon discover the Altstädten water treading facility on your left - a refreshing stop to revitalize your feet. After a few refreshing laps, walk back a little way and then turn left onto Sonnenkopfweg, which takes you down to Altstädten. Walk through the village in a westerly direction back to the station.
