This circular route brings us closer to Ravello and its cultural treasures in the form of churches, monasteries, and palaces. On the other hand, you also enjoy beautiful landscapes and magnificent views of the coast as well as the mountainous hinterland.
We start from the Piazza Duomo in Ravello heading south and turn onto Via dei Rufolo at an ancient column embedded in a natural stone wall. We walk through a house, follow the stairs slightly to the right going up, and pass through the entrance hall of the monastery church of S. Francesco. At a fork, we choose Via S. Chiara to the left. It leads us to the monastery of the same name. Here we turn right onto the stairway. Before reaching the entrance to the "Villa Cimbrone" with its large park, we take the stairway Via S. Barbara downwards to the right (signpost "Amalfi/Minori"). Shortly after, on the right we see a rock wall with many grottos in which stables have been built. Further down, we meet a stairway coming from there and follow it sharply left slightly downhill (sign "Amalfi/Minori"). Soon the path continues level on well-kept paths through garden terraces. At the top of the Ravello ridge, there's a junction going to Amalfi. We stay on the relatively flat path and arrive at
