An educational route that will stay in your memory: 115 boards explain interesting natural history details.From the mouth of the Kirnitz in Bad Schandau, the trail leads past the Toskana thermal baths and the terminus of the Kirnitzschtal electric railroad to the Kurhaus. We pass the Waldhäusl directly through the garden. Before the Ostrauer Mühle mill, we cross the Kirnitzsch on a listed sandstone bridge. Climbing above the campsite, we reach the Forsthaus restaurant. We reach the Lichtenhain waterfall, which is also the terminus of the streetcar, on the Kirnitzschtalstraße. At the parking lot, we change sides of the stream again and continue on the left bank past the Lichtenhainer Mühle mill to the Felsenmühle sawmill. The final stage to Neumannmühle begins behind the mill.
