Rabenstein route

From the town hall, go north through the roundabout via "Hühnerberg" and Kirchenstiege to the Dreiecksgarten, then via Bergstraße to Schwarzensteinerstraße, briefly left onto Englburger Straße and immediately left into the forest path to the hamlet of Dobl. Past a forest chapel, a longer forest hike to the village of Loderhof. Here, a detour to the Bavarian Forest Open Air Museum and to Dreiburgensee is possible. Turning left at a beautiful chapel through the small village, after an S-curve, turning right onto an ascending forest road to the village of Rabenstein. Just before Rabenstein, turn left. On a forest road heading south, at the end of the forest path a wonderful view of the castles Fürstenstein and Englburg. In the hamlet of Thurmannsdorf, turn right and shortly after left to Kollnberg mill with the oldest mill pond of the Bavarian Forest. Past the sawmill, turn left and uphill through the forest and through the village of Reuth. Then turn left into Burgstallstraße, continue to Hochfeldstraße, to the natural monument “Hoher Stein,” past the castle and the church via Bergstraße and "Hühnerberg" back to the starting point.
