Very nice hike starting from the village of Cucugnan and climbing up to the superb Cathar castle of Quéribus offering a breathtaking view.

The entire ascent follows the GR 367, with shaded sections. No major difficulty in this direction, you will enjoy beautiful views all along. Watch out for numerous pebbles, rocks, and steps. After 4 km you will arrive at the parking and reception of the castle. Access to the castle is paid (about €7.50 for an adult), the visit is really worth it! Simply magnificent with a 360-degree breathtaking view. Allow about 45 minutes to visit everything. The descent follows the GR and a PR, wide stony tracks gently descending to the village.
