Quarry Path

From the town hall, cross the roundabout, then turn right to the sports ground, there over the balcony of the new primary school to Jahnweg and across the former railway crossing (now Donau-Ilz cycle path) to the district road. There turn left onto Drosselweg, continuing to a disused quarry, past a group of houses called Hinterberg. After crossing the district road, turn left onto a field path through a small woodland to the village of Unterpolling. In the village, turn right onto a land consolidation road that leads over meadows, fields and forest to the hamlet of Nußbaum. The road now continues to Nußbaummühle, past houses of the hamlet Gstöcket. From there at the forest edge, turn right into the woods and after an ascent to the memorial of the concentration camp transport 1945. Along the cycle path on the former railway line to the state road, through the village of Nammering and at the Feichtinger inn turn left into Lehenstraße to the district of Lehen. A forest path leads to Buchleiten, at the next crossroad turn right to the hamlet Steining with views of the Paradies and Peternbruch quarries, past the disused Lohwiese quarry back to the starting point.
