Long tour that ascends steeply and for a long time on a good path and from the Naunspitze winds slowly with constant ups and downs over rocky ground towards the Pyramidenspitze.
The descent to the Anton-Karg House is exhausting and hard on the knees, which are already tired after the long march.
The way back is easy but long.
Long hike mostly in the shade. Beautiful view from the Naunspitze. Pleasantly many inns up to the Naunspitze, afterwards rather deserted.
Very well frequented tour in the front third.

Very good hiking trail up to the Naunspitze. Afterwards rather rocky path through dwarf pines and rocks with little impressive distant views.
Descent is very difficult and taxing for the knees.
Return route from the Anton-Karg-Haus is easy but without highlights. Note that the Anton-Karg-Haus is not constantly operated.
