Path 3A starts from Weissmatten and reaches Punta Regina (2382m).
It is 2672m long and the total positive elevation gain is 397m. The indicative time for the ascent is 1h15.
The path is classified as difficulty E.
The route starts from the Weissmatten chairlift arrival but is also reachable on foot via path 2.
Punta Regina is surely the most popular among the destinations in Gressoney Saint Jean.
Besides path 3A which reaches the summit ascending from the south side, there is an alternative ascending from the north side, slightly less frequented: first, you must reach the valley floor up to the Colle della Ranzola via path 3, then take path 7A which quickly connects the pass with the summit.
