You shouldn't overlook the Puflatsch during a visit to the Seiser Alm. As a flattened northwestern edge of the famous high plateau, it may not embody the ideal of a Dolomite mountain, but its location and panoramic views more than make up for this "external" shortcoming. Several places to stop, wonderful close and distant views, and especially the interesting "witch benches" provide variety on this comfortable, entertaining mountain walk.
From the valley station in Seis take the Seiser Alm cable car up to the mountain station, 1857 m. Here, follow the asphalt road with trail number 14 through hotel areas going north, then upwards through meadows to a fork. To the right is the footpath marked PU through a wooded area, then through meadows northeast in zigzags up to the Tschötschalm, 2030 m, with magnificent views of the Langkofel and Schlern. On path PU through meadows winding and zigzagging up to the Puflatsch lift mountain station, 2104 m, with the Puflatsch lift restaurant, and continue uphill northeast to the viewing platform "Engelsrast", 2119 m (panorama circle) on the southern edge of the Puflatsch plateau.
