The paved road at the former Prigglitzer Hof soon turns into a gravel forest road. Follow this road, and at a hairpin bend stay on this road. Upon reaching the crossroads with trail no. 8 (Pottschacher Hütte, yellow signs), now take the red-marked hiking trail downhill to the fountain house and wayside shrine. Here the marking points briefly uphill towards the Höhenweg (trail no. 6), follow the forest road westward (to the left) until a distinct path (marking) and an arrow for Höhenweg lead into the forest. The path leads back to a forest road, then again transitions to a forest path. Finally, a forest road leads down to the road towards "Auf der Wiese".
