Presanella and the Val d’Amola (up to the Giovanni Segantini mountain hut)
You park the car at Alm Malga Vallina d’Amola, which you reach by following the road of Val Nambrone. The road after the bridge over the Sarca di Nambrone climbs rather steeply and over numerous hairpin bends up to the junction of the Lakes of Cornisello. Here you turn left to the parking lot. From the parking lot of Alm Malga Vallina d’Amola (2064 m), you start the hike on path no. 211, which leads uphill over a series of steep hairpin bends. The resulting scenery is truly unique, as to the right the waterfalls of the river plunge turbulently and foaming into the depths, bringing the water of the Sarca d’Amola down to the valley. Below, the wide river bends of the glacier water gather on the plateau of Alm Malga Vallina. The two streams finally unite and form the Sarca di Nambrone. You continue uphill on the path, quickly gaining altitude and reach the ridge, over which you finally climb the 2373 m of the mountain hut or the two mountain huts.
