The Predné Solisko (Front Salt Mountain) is the first peak on the long ridge Soliskový hrebeň, which runs north-south along the western side of the Mlynická valley. Due to its location above the "Veil Waterfall" Vodopád Skok, which can be seen very well from here, the peak received its former German name: Schleierfallspitze. The tour can be significantly shortened by using the chairlift from the ski area in Štrbské Pleso.
From the central signpost in Štrbské Pleso we go directly on the main road closed to public traffic (yellow trail) to the mouth of the already visible Mlynická dolina valley between the mountains of Solisko and Patria (slant left at the road fork). On the left we pass the ski area with two ski jumps, on the right the FIS hotel; here turn left to the nearby chairlift valley station. After the ascent, from the signpost between the chairlift mountain station and the Chata pod Soliskom we follow the red trail directly up the mighty, somewhat monotonous scree slope. Later it gets steeper in tight switchbacks and near steep rock faces above the Mlynická dolina valley up to the highest point of Predné Solisko with the summit cross.The descent is on the same path back to the hut.
