The circular sport-recreational hiking trail Pot na Hum starts at Tabor Castle Laško, but it can also be started at Aškerčev trg in the center of Laško. The path leads from the starting point first to the summit of Hum (583 m), then across three peaks to the hamlet Zahum and to Blaževa skala, from where it continues back to the starting point at Tabor Castle.
The hill Hum is a symbol of Laško and rises steeply and sharply above the town to an altitude of 583 m. The path to the summit, from where a wonderful view opens up, leads through forest and dwarf shrubs. Several protected viewpoints are arranged along the way (Prižnica, Prepadna udorina, Blaževa skala and the summit of Hum), a resting place with informative boards about Hum's vegetation, and just below the summit stands a Eucharistic cross. At the summit there is a visitor's logbook and a trail stamp, as well as an info board with compass directions and indications of surrounding hills. The summit of Hum is one of the most popular spots of our tourist destination Laško, and Pot na Hum is the most visited themed hiking trail. It is visited by between 30,000 and 40,000 people annually.

Tips and suggestions
The path is connected with the town of Laško itself and its attractions, as well as with the Thermana Laško complex. There is also a connection with the A8 walking path – Health Spa Path, which runs at the foot of Hum. Pot na Hum was completely renovated in 2011, with many stairs built to the summit to facilitate and ensure safer walking; the most dangerous spots and viewpoints were secured with steel cables. Until then, the 700 m long path to the summit became a circular path of a total length of 3.8 km.
