Leisurely longer hike along the Wörthersee Circular Trail to Klagenfurt.
Also suitable in the colder months, this hike offers the possibility to do a point-to-point hike by train.
Starting by train from Klagenfurt-West station, then on foot from Pörtschach station back to the starting point.

Planned as a public transport route, you take the train from Klagenfurt-West station to Pörtschach station and start from there. Under the station, head to exit 10.Oktober-Straße, follow the path to the right, then after about 100 m head half-left. After another 200 m, turn half-left again towards WRWW (Wörthersee Circular Trail).
Follow this until the connecting path (sign) and continue on the path. At kilometer 1.5, turn right towards WRWW, which we follow until kilometer 3.6. Then take the trail to the left up to the gravel road.
Here, follow the gravel road to the left until kilometer 4.7. Then continue along the path to the right until WRWW is reached again.
Following WRWW, go over Pirkerkogel, Pirk, Drasing Castle to Zillhöhe and back to Klagenfurt-West station.
