Take the Medrigjochbahn up to 1,800 m. About 100 meters from the mountain station, at the fork, take the path towards Istalanztal. Keep right until you reach the Istalanzbach. Here begins the elongated Istalanztal up to the Masnerjoch (2,685 m). At the pass, you will be offered an impressive view of Hexensee and the adjacent hut, nestled in the Serfauser Alpen region. A very narrow, rocky path leads you to the rugged and impressive Hexenkopf. Here, if you're lucky, you might also spot ibex!
Return: same way back – from the mountain station, you return to the valley by gondola. Please note the operating times of the cable cars for the return trip.
Note: The mountain tour is only for experienced persons. Please note that you take the first mountain ride at 08:30 am to be able to catch the last valley ride at 5:00 pm.
