Pfatterer Au

Today we want to explore the Pfatterer Au. We park in Pfatter in one of the parking lots between the sports field and the school (Navigation: Regensburger Str., 93102 Pfatter). Today we always follow the marking "red square". We now go through the town via Regensburger Street towards the church. After passing the church on the right, we shortly turn left into Nikola Street. Just a few meters later, we turn left again into Donaustraße. At the next intersection, we turn right and shortly afterwards cross Zehentistraße. We leave Pfatter via Schleusenstraße and a forest path leads us to Pfatterer Au. We have reached the Pfatterer Au nature reserve and keep left here, always following the dam path. Along the way, we can observe many birds that stay in Pfatterer Au. Then we cross a meadow landscape and shortly afterwards on the dam we reach the Danube on the right side. It's almost three kilometers until we reach a large bridge. Before the bridge, we turn left and follow the small road for about 200 meters. Then we turn left again and head towards Seppenhausen. After 50 meters, we turn right onto a field path and soon reach a small forest area. The path runs below the road. On the left side is an old Danube arm and the path soon turns left. We cross a small bridge and have a great view of the old side arm of the Danube next to us. Ahead of us we also already see the first houses of Pfatter and shortly afterwards turn left. We reach the street "An der Bechau" and turn left again here, crossing the Pfatter. Now it is not far and we have reached Regensburger Street in Pfatter. At the sports ground, we keep left and shortly afterwards reach our starting point again.
