Pfänder unknown paths

From the parking lot through the monastery on the marked path to the Andreute horse farm. Then on to Hehle Farm and from there onto Pfänderstrasse. A short stretch on the road to Lutzenreute. Refreshments possible at the Paradies guesthouse. From Lutzenreute on the marked path towards Rugburg. Closed road (landslide) is easily passable. Always follow the well-developed forest road up to the junction to Backenreute/Gigelstein. Caution in the forest above Hörbranz (unmarked junction) do not follow the path at the same level heading north, but descend left on the well-developed forest road. Before the hairpin turn above Gigelstein, there is a clearly visible but unmarked path that leads steeply down westwards to Gigelstein. This path should only be used in dry weather. The normal route descends far down to above Brantmann. Past the Rochus Chapel down to Hörbranz. Unfortunately, the short stretch of 500m along the sidewalk next to the main road cannot be avoided. In Berg, we enter a quieter residential area and then return through forest and meadow to Gwiggen.
