The 6 km long adventure route starts at the Mostheuriger Karner in Nöstach and leads over 16 stations through the especially beautiful and quiet landscape to Peilstein and back. The path is well signposted. To ensure there is no boredom, information panels about climbing lead to the summit, and numerous activity stations ensure that children are never bored. Visitors learn interesting facts about climbing plants or about the special gripping mechanisms developed by climbing animals, such as lizards. But climbing is not only important for plants and animals. Humans have also developed various climbing styles, which are explained with display panels, informing visitors about different aspects of climbing.
The start and end point of the adventure route is directly at the Mostheuriger Karner in Nöstach. Halfway up to the summit, the Gasthaus Holzschlag invites you to a cozy rest, where children also find an entertaining activity station. The Peilstein shelter at the summit also offers plenty of opportunities for a longer break. Various playgrounds around the Peilstein house provide enough play and fun for children, so the rest becomes a comfortable stay for the parents as well. A climbing wall can also be tried out there.
