Southwest of Madonna di Campiglio, near Pinzolo, below the Presanella glacier, the Sarca di Genova rises here, fed by the cold glacier water, one of the three source rivers of the Sarca, the main tributary of Lake Garda (incorrectly referred to as Mincio in the German Wikipedia). Water is the main theme on this route. Everywhere the water-rich river roars and rushes over cascades or rapids, additionally fed by impressive waterfalls of smaller tributaries. The river valley is surrounded by magnificent mountains in an almost primeval forest-like landscape. In the west, you can partially see the peaks of the Adamello-Presanella group over 3500 m high and in the east the mountains of the Brenta Dolomites over 3000 m high.
Author’s recommendation
On the descent from Todesco, there is a magnificent view of the Brenta Dolomites.
Be sure to take the detour to the lower Lardis waterfall, it's worth it.

Absolute surefootedness is necessary on the hiking trailsTips and suggestions
The nature park charges an entrance fee, and in summer you should book online in advance (limited number of parking spaces). In summer, the park also offers a shuttle service that brings visitors to the attractions.Roadbook
The starting point of our route is the lower info point of the nature park. For the ascent, we mostly stay on the driveway; only when climbing up to Todesco do we turn right onto the hiking trail, which takes us relatively steeply up to our westernmost point of the hike at about 1290 m. After a break, we now descend on the Sentiero della Pace or Sentiero delle Cascate, partially on the driveway but mostly on a partly more demanding singletrail in a pristine and picturesque forest landscape. We also gladly take the lower Lardis waterfall as a detour. The path repeatedly leads over bridges and in the lower part, we cross a small wetland and swamp area on boardwalks.
