The proposed route is a relatively short loop, but quite challenging due to the steepness of the terrain. The difficulty of the climb is rewarded by the stunning views over the Orrido. The view is breathtaking, but not suitable for those who suffer from vertigo and not recommended for children as there are unprotected sections.
From Piazza del Porto in Riva di Solto, head along the lakeside towards the parish church. Continuing on the olive walk, paved with the famous Ceppo di Grè from Solto Collina, you reach the Bogn area. Proceed straight along what was the old lakeshore road, built in 1910 and currently replaced for vehicular traffic by the tunnel on the left, and enter a small tunnel, from the exit of which you will be able to admire the unique spectacle of the Bogn. If you linger on the bridge, you can observe the evocative vertical rock slabs towering over the lake. Here, in summer, it is not uncommon to see fearless divers jump into the waters of Sebino directly from the old road.
Continue until you reach the end of the traffic-restricted area of the Bogn, where there is a small beach. Here, with great care, proceed for a short stretch alongside the carriageway (the roadway is narrower and there is no pedestrian area or sidewalk) until, on the left, you notice a small sanctuary, next to which there is a steep path, initially immersed in vegetation, which must be followed always keeping to the left. Soon you will see incredible panoramic points. When the climb ends you will be on path 565, which locals call La Panoramica. Continuing to the left, you pass a hut and then a picnic table. The big climb is over; now begins the descent to return to the village along the other side of the Orrido. After a bench, continuing, you will emerge onto a paved road (via degli Apostoli). Turn left and follow the paved descent; after 2 hairpin bends, on the left, take a path edged with vegetation. You then pass above the Zorzino settlement until you return to a small, somewhat uneven concrete section. After about 100 meters, on the left, take a grassy path that, skirting the Orrido, after some paving and a few steps leads to the beginning of the olive walk. From here, it is possible to return to the village.
