Continue to Rosenberg in the direction of the forestry nursery with views of Klien, Langenberg, and Dün. Through the mixed forest to Lohberg with a viewing bench.
Along the gypsy bridge, following the farm road and street to the Wetterkreuz village entrance. Uphill to the Dachsberg bench with a magnificent view.
Continue along the Eselsweg to the shelter where you can comfortably rest. The worthwhile view from the tea house bench should be enjoyed. Continue towards Förster- and Rehunger Stieg, rest bench with magnificent views of Bernterode and surroundings.
Through the mixed forest to Hagenberg to the next bench with magnificent panoramic views from Dün to Ohmgebirge.
Downhill past the shooting range towards Bernterode to the starting point.

Continue above the stations to the Holy Grave with the longest bench in Thuringia and a table made from a 26.61m trunk. Here you have a beautiful panoramic view of the Dün, Eichsfelder Pforte, Bleicheröder Mountains, Hasenburg, Harburg, and Ohmgebirge.
Continue to Rosenberg, past the Waldeand towards the forestry nursery with views of Klien, Langenberg, and Dün. At the forestry nursery intersection, continue through the mixed forest to Lohberg with a viewing bench (view of the Dachs-, Herren-, and Hagenberg).
Across the "railway bridge," follow the farm road to the street at the Wetterkreuz village entrance. From there, uphill again to the Dachsberg bench with a magnificent view of the Ohmgebirge, Bleicheröder Mountains, and Hagenberg.
Over the Eselsweg to the old oak and on to the largest shelter in North Thuringia with 150 seats, where you can comfortably take a break.
A worthwhile view from the tea house bench towards the village should be enjoyed before continuing in the direction of Försterstieg, past the Harzblick, down a hollow way lightly downhill to Rehunger Stieg, with a wonderful view of Bernterode and surroundings. This can also be enjoyed from a rest bench.
Continue along the panorama path through the mixed forest to the old sports field at Hagenberg, with magnificent views from Dün with Hockelrain and Scharfenstein, the Eichsfelder Basin, Sommerberg, and Klien up to the Ohmgebirge. There is also a rest bench here to relax.
Then it goes downhill past the shooting range, towards Bernterode to the start point.
The route is marked with a yellow dot and very rewarding.
You can also shorten it at any time and return to the starting point.
