The “Panorama Trail” offers a beautiful view of the Gerolsbach valley.
The starting point of the Panorama Trail is the parking lot below the vineyard. We first follow the Benediktusweg, and go downhill over the street "Zum Schöneck" to the monastery ponds. Passing the monastery estate, with its mighty entrance gate, we go slightly uphill on the poplar avenue. Even here it is worth stopping briefly and letting your gaze wander over the hilly landscape. For this, we should always take a little time during the short hiking route. Along the way, we can listen to the song of skylarks and the chirping of grasshoppers.
At the first marker stone, our paths diverge and we choose the right path with the blue marking. After a while, we have to cross the road at Unterschnatterbach and it goes uphill on the other side to the forest. There, always following the blue marking, we turn right and enjoy the wonderful views of the valley, the ponds and the monastery. Below Vieth, we pass the St 2084 and return to Scheyern via the hollow way.
