The leisurely hike mostly leads downhill thanks to the ascent with the Hörnerbahn. Along beautiful meadow and forest paths, we explore the wonderful nature of the Hörner chain. We ascend the summits of Weiherkopf and Rangiswanger Horn and enjoy the wonderful view to Grünten, the Nagelfluh chain, and the Oberstdorf and Bad Hindelang mountains. The trail also offers wonderful views of the valley villages and the mountain ranges. Several alpine huts are passed, which are not staffed but blend perfectly into the idyllic landscape of the hike with its meadows, woodland, summit views, and flowers along the path.
