The hike through the Bolgental takes us through a typically Allgäu landscape. Wide, green meadows with scattered groups of trees and the grass-covered summit slopes invite you to a leisurely route. Of course, we encounter one or the other herd of cows and also managed alpine pastures along the way. The two summits Weiherkopf and Großer Ochsenkopf as well as the viewpoint at the Sonderdorfer Kreuz impress with a magnificent panoramic view over the Illertal and the surrounding mountain world of the Allgäu Alps. Kratzer, Grünten, Nebelhorn, and Rubihorn are just some of the peaks we can discover.
