Osterholz round

The hiking trail begins at the outdoor swimming pool. Passing there, we go up the small stairs and follow the path to the right. We stroll around the swimming pool and continue along the path at the edge of the forest. On the right, we catch a glimpse of the ice pond and pass the sports fields. At the end of the hiking trail, we turn left at the signpost "Osterholz" and orient ourselves towards Laubegg. Here we walk up the main hiking trail HW9 until we reach the forest edge. The HW9 on the red bar shows us that we are on the right path. At the forest edge, we follow the road to the left towards Airach. Before Airach, we turn left again towards Buchholz and stroll along the path. In the forest, we encounter a sign indicating the direction to Winterspüren.  From now on, the salt marsh experience trail accompanies us with interesting stations. At the next fork, we keep left on the hiking trail with the yellow diamond. We follow this first to the dead ice pond and then along the Schwarzgraben ravine. The forest path ends next to the road. There is a wide hiking trail to the left back to Stockach and from the car park a small footpath up on the left, which we now follow. From the footpath, we reach a forest path again which, with its signposts, takes us back to the Osterholz recreation area towards the swimming pool.
