Circular hike to the summit of Niremont with a 360° panoramic view! On this family hike, you can also admire the summits of Teysachaux and Dent de Lys.
The route is dotted with beautiful viewpoints offering great views of the opposite Fribourg and Vaud Alps. It has no particular difficulties and leads through pastures where many different flowers bloom in spring and summer.
After starting at the Les Pueys car park, cross the road to begin the ascent towards Gros Niremont via the Chalet des Errouvines (Les Rouvena). The path leads to the large Niremont plateau and then up to the summit cross. The spectacular view extends from the Jura chain over Lake Geneva to Mont Blanc. Then it descends to the picturesque alpine hut Cabane du Petit Oiseau with a petting zoo, a chapel, and a miniature train. Here you can refresh yourself for the next program item: afterwards, a giant goose game on the theme of amphibians awaits at the Rathvel pond, before returning along the Creux de l’ours back to Les Pueys.
