For everyone who wants to get to know life and landscape in the middle Lower Rhine region, this circular hike is ideal. In biotopes, landscape and nature conservation farms, you will learn everything that is typical for the Lower Rhine cultural landscape.
We leave the parking lot at the Nettetal Nature Conservation Farm and follow the marking (black and white angle). This section is also marked up to the fork with the sign for the circular tour »Water Hiking World 9«. At a fork, we turn right (A3, X, black and white angle), then take a left at the next opportunity and stay on this path up to the federal road (B509). From the fork, we are on a nature trail marked with a blue band up to De Wittsee. We follow the B509 a short distance to the right to Restaurant Secretis. Here we turn left, now following the path also marked E8, until we turn right again at the next possible fork. We approach the golf course at Haus Bey. Shortly before that, at the florist Die Blumenwerkstatt, we turn left and go to the next fork. We choose the slightly left fork towards Hinsbecker Bruch and shortly afterwards see the parking lot at the Biological Station and the Restaurant Krickenbecker See.
