Nature experience route

The starting point is at the Dillplatz parking lot. The first signpost shows us the way to the Osterholz local recreation area. We go left along the forest edge. We pass the sports grounds and discover the Eisweiher; with some patience, various animals can be spotted here. We continue and circle around the leisure pool. Then we follow the path towards Winterspüren and do not turn off to Jettweiler. A signpost shows us a footpath downhill to a path along the forest edge, which we follow. We reach a meadow, cross it, and walk to Winterspüren, where we follow Linzgaustraße. After the kindergarten, we turn right into Bonndorfer Straße. Before the last houses, we follow the yellow lozenge to the right to an intersection, where we turn right. We catch a glimpse of Hof Heinrichsweiler but go left. We follow the wide path to a signposted intersection, where we follow the sign towards Stockach. Then we always keep left until we leave the forest. We follow the path to the right, which leads us through Airach. With a bit of luck, we can view ostriches in the outdoor enclosure here. A visit to the adjoining ostrich farm is also possible, where you can learn all about these special animals and find various ostrich-related products in the farm shop. After leaving Airach behind, we continue right and then immediately turn left at the signpost back to the starting point at Dillplatz.
