Muhlviertel hike NWKW II Cesky Herslak - Rybnik

From Horní Dvořiště (German Oberhaid) south through the village to the pond with 2 huge oaks and a cross at the edge of the village on the road to Deutsch Hörschlag. Here begins the old tank road parallel to the border, now used as a cycle path. The Summerauer railway is crossed underneath, then straight ahead to the KCT information point Nad Ceskem Herslakem. This is where the Nordwald ridgeway II is reached, which is followed to the Eisenhut border crossing (blue-white ridge marking with II inside). First, it goes uphill on the tank road to the rest area. After a short section on the tank road, the Nordwald ridgeway sign turns right to the border (municipal boundary Rainbach - Leopoldschlag). Now the old border guard path is used, a beautiful hiking path with gentle ups and downs and also views to the east and the summit Tri Smirky on the Czech side. The forest path becomes a meadow path as the Eisenhut border crossing approaches. The Nordwald ridgeway now goes right across the mown meadow. From there, it now goes down again to the towpath and to the educational trail horse railway path with the dilapidated horse railway bridge. Without a path, one could also follow the border marking from the border crossing until one comes across the horse railway track. From the Czech horse railway bridge, it goes on the old, freshly asphalted tank road to the junction of the blue-marked return path to Český Heršlák. Along the road, after crossing the connecting road Dolní Dvořiště - Vyšší Brod, the Rybnik station is soon reached.
