The trail starts in AlSalam, ascends the mountain through a very old but large trail (some parts are heavily damaged) and then crosses the plateau with old ottoman trails passing by fortifications that protected the Hijaj railway. Offering views over AlUla and the surroundings it goes down to the town using an impressive 32 curves zigzag!
