The Moses springs flow from a massive rock in the Malá Fatra mountain range, which is why they are named after the biblical figure.
The Moses springs are a place for rest and also a small adventure. They are located on the southwest side of Hrmové hill in Malá Fatra. They connect to the Šútovo waterfall, which we also recommend visiting along the way. According to legend, the springs were formed just as Moses struck a rock with his staff in the desert, and water then gushed out. This is how they got their name.
