Albarca is an abandoned village, picturesquely situated on a rock ledge above the pass of the same name. From there, we reach the Roca Corbatera, the highest elevation of the Montsant, after a short ascent. The summit view is overwhelming, the continuation over the ridge of the Serra Major pleasant, the descent through the south face impressive, and the return path on a rock ledge of the southeast face beautiful, but blazing hot at noon sun.
