a classic loop hike on Monte Ubiale.
The trail is short but quite steep in the ascent and descent of the last stretch.
From the village, go up on the left on the paved road, at the agritourism parking lot take the small path on the left that goes around it and climb back up through the woods. You emerge onto the main trail, a kind of mule track which you follow for several switchbacks, there are many signs along the way.
At the only important fork, take left along the partisans' trail and follow it with a slight ascent almost up to the Passata bird snares, which are preceded by a short descent. From here, climb the direct path to the summit.
From the summit, follow the main descent, steep but manageable. Bypass the hunting area with fixed posts by following the fork to the left and reach the old cistern. From here, you are back on the mule track which we follow up to the cemetery in the village. From there, return easily to the start.
