Loop hike of Knopfberg starting from Palade pass.
Reaching Luco Peak and returning from the lake with the same name via the Aldo Bonacossa trail.
Departure from Palade Pass. We immediately take the forest road to Malga Monte Luco (path 10) and not path 133. In just over an hour you reach the malga. We proceed towards the summit Monte Luco (Laugenspitze). The ascent is a bit tiring but equipped also with wooden staircases. From 2434 meters you go down path 28 and then on a marked track (not Sat) you reach Lake Monte Luco always clearly visible.
Before descending, you can also reach the summit of Little Luco in half an hour which offers an excellent view over the AltoAdige valleys.
Return to Palade pass via the steep path 133 Aldo Bonacossa.
