Starting from Calci, crossing the stream you enter the pine forest burned in the summer of 2020 by a huge fire. You arrive at the Rocca del Monte della Verruca and admire the panorama that allows us to see beyond the Pisani mountains, the Apuan Alps and the islands of Gorgona and Capraia. With a small detour of 200m you can reach the archaeological excavations of the Abbey of San Michele and then resume the easy descent passing through Montemagno
