The route starts at the 276 m altitude of the Gandria pier to reach the summit of Monte Brè, located at 915 m: a 639 m elevation gain that clearly conveys the physical effort required for the hike. Gandria, a magnificent fishing village bordering Lake Lugano, is an excellent starting point considering its beauty.
