Molden is often referred to as the most beautiful viewpoint in the municipality of Luster in southwest Norway. No wonder: with the breathtaking view over the turquoise Lustrafjord, overshadowed by mountains, the summit is a very special spot even in Norway. In addition, Molden is easily accessible via forest and woodland paths, so every hiker has the opportunity to reach the summit without being an experienced climber. On the way to the summit of Molden, we pass the old alpine hut Svarthiller, which offers a good resting place and the first real viewpoint to the fjord. At hiking time, you should definitely plan enough time to spend on the summit plateau to enjoy the views in different directions.
