Mining circuit

A few kilometers upstream from its mouth, the Gouet river has carved its bed between rocky escarpments rising more than 120 meters. Your hike winds through the agricultural countryside of Trémuson and takes you from the high points down to the river. The trail serves the industrial remains of this former mining site, which exploited silver-bearing galena veins in the 20th century.
Start: Buchon parking lot. After following the Merlet stream and crossing the hamlet of Herbotins, here is the Moulin de la Roche. It is an old flour mill converted into a fish farm.
