The panorama route with a distant view of the Dolomites is an easy yet spectacular circular hiking route that leads from Pfiffinger Köpfl at the mountain station of the cable car 2000 to the higher located Mittager hut. There is the possibility to shorten the descent by using the cable car (time saving 45 minutes).

From the mountain station of the Meran 2000 cable car (gondola runs every 15 minutes), the well-signposted path (number 3) leads past the Weidmannalm (very nice place to stop) to the Missensteinerjoch. This ascent, as well as the following ascent to the Kesselberg hut, is strenuous. On the high plateau up to the Mittager hut, there is a beautiful panorama. On the Windspitz, there is a 360-degree panorama. A leisurely descent follows (option to use the cable car) to the valley station of the Mittager chairlift. Through a wooded landscape, it goes back to the mountain station of the Meran 2000 chairlift.
