From the Gasthaus Prucha, follow the road a short distance towards Stroheim until a field path branches off to the left. Follow this until you reach a road that leads through a settlement. Near one of the last farmhouses, hiking trail 46 branches off to the left and leads into the Leithen. The forest road then goes through the Leithen. At a junction with hiking trail 44, continue straight ahead on the forest road to the north, then it turns south and joins another forest road at a crossroads. Here, turn left and after a short time leave the forest and come onto a paved road. Follow this uphill to the Mayrhoferberg.
East of the observation tower, the hiking trail leads a short section through the forest and then continues over field and meadow paths and a paved road back to the starting point. Signposts "Gasthaus Prucha" indicate the correct way.

By post bus to Stroheim town center. From there, walk northwards for 10 minutes to the start of the route.Directions
Coming from Eferding to Stroheim. About 1.3 km north of Stroheim along the road you reach the car park at the Gasthaus Prucha directly on the street.Parking
